This text is the edited proceedings of the past two meetings of the World Forum on Theology and Liberation (WFTL) that was held in Tunis, Tunisia, during the month of March in 2013 and 2015. At these meetings the WFTL integrated their sessions into the World Social Forum (WSF), which met at the same venues and dates. Both meetings in 2013 and 2015 saw the WFTL injecting and incorporating reflection on religions and theological insights into the wider discussion engaged by the social movements gathered at the WSF. [...] the chapters included in this text, cover wide geographical and theological terrain. With contributors from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and North America, and covering topics such as gender issues, indigeneity, ecology, politics and liberation, this text presents some of the ways in which WFTL members understand and suggest we understand the role of religions, religious reflection and theological endeavor now and in the future.
